Terms of Service

Using this website means you accept the terms below. Engaged clients also sign a separate written agreement.

Last updated: September 11, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Majette Moments website. They also describe general terms for our event planning and event management services. The specific terms of any engagement — scope, fees, payment schedule, cancellation, and liability — are set out in the signed services agreement between you and Majette Moments, which controls if there is any conflict with this page.

2. Website content

Content on this site is provided for general information. Descriptions of services, packages, and process are illustrative and do not constitute an offer or a guarantee of availability, results, or pricing.

3. Inquiries and quotes

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date or create a contract. Dates are reserved only when a signed agreement and any required retainer have been received.

4. Fees and payment

Fees are quoted individually per event. Unless your agreement says otherwise, a non-refundable retainer is due on signing and remaining payments follow the schedule in that agreement. Vendor costs, venue fees, rentals, travel, and similar third-party expenses are separate from our planning fee and are payable by you.

5. Third-party vendors

We source, recommend, and coordinate independent vendors on your behalf. Those vendors contract with you directly and are responsible for their own work, insurance, licensing, and conduct. Majette Moments is not liable for a third-party vendor's acts, omissions, delays, or failure to perform.

6. Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and timely decisions and approvals.
  • Make payments to us and to vendors on schedule.
  • Obtain any permits, permissions, or insurance a venue requires of the host.
  • Behave, and ask your guests to behave, lawfully and respectfully toward staff and vendors.

7. Cancellation and postponement

Cancellation and postponement terms, including retainer treatment and rescheduling availability, are set out in your services agreement. Third-party vendor deposits are subject to each vendor's own terms.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, fire, public health orders, government action, utility or venue failure, labor disruption, or acts of war or terrorism. In such cases we will work in good faith to reschedule.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the planning fees actually paid to Majette Moments for the event in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual property

The name, logo, text, images, and design of this website belong to Majette Moments or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Design concepts, proposals, and planning documents we prepare remain our intellectual property and are provided for use on your event only.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
